Just watched Paranormal activity (spoilers)

Man, I would totally wreck that thickie Katie, but I digress. So was she possessed the whole time or what it just a seperate demon? And why them/her?

Not really that scary of a film, but I will admit that I freaked the fuck out after all of the screaming downstairs at the end and I heard someone walking up the stairs. I didn't know who or what was going to walk out of that darkness.

It was OK. Not at all the total classic a few had made it out to be, and nowhere near the scariest movie I had seen. In fact, there were a few times when I thought to myself "Crap, I've seen this before", like the footage of Nancy.
Oh, and we can look forward to a Paranormal Activity 2. Joy.

I understood that she was possessed (or at least followed) for years. She mentions acknowledging the presence long ago. I don't think there was a reason given. Things were escalating due to the presence and taunting of her boyfriend.

I thought the ending was awesome; the demon fully possesses her, kills her bf and then launches his body into the video camera as if to say "fuck you". Her smirk at the end was the icing on the cake! :thumbsup:

I think his use of the ouija board was what finally allowed the demon to have a presence. But, we don't totally know that as she would stand and walk around in her sleep without her knowing...but I think it was the board which did, in fact, invite the beast into their homes.

I watched a version with that ending, however here in Peru there are theathers that show the version where she just go upstaira and sit in the bed till the morning when her friend comes home and finds Micah´s body. Then calls the police and they fpund Katie in the bed, possesed with the knife in her hand. She reacts and screams and the police kills her.

No, yesterday's DVD was my first time seeing it. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her body throughout the whole movie, so I'm sure I missed key details.
