what the fuck you lookin at?
Well I've been thinkin lately about humanity mostly. What makes us human, you know stuff like that. Been some good thought provoking posts just the past couple days. Also been alot of post mentioning "god" or "religion" or other such personal beleifs. I don't know where any of you people stand on god or religion or anything like that and personaly I don't care. Everyone has their own ideas about god and religion and the like. That's not what this thread is about. My opinions are fact based. I watch the discovery channel and the history channel religiously. Helps to figure out the way the world works.
Hopefully I don't loose anyone here. Through that I've realized that humans are no more than simply monkeys that wear clothes! Seriously, think about it. What makes us human? Well lots of things yes but what set us apart from the rest of the ******* on this planet back before we had any of the technologies we have today? Back in the stone age? Tools...think about NO OTHER ****** on the planet has ever used tools for anything! Had it not been for tools and probably the ability to make fire which went hand in hand with tool making, we'd still be swingin around in trees. That along with the ability to walk upright, propelled us along the path, that through evolution, we have come today!
So strip away everything we have today, the clothes, cars, homes, comuters...etc...we're still ******* and always will be just that, another ****** living on this planet! Sadly enough the human race, or rather species if you will, has through the course of time, developed the ability to completly destroy our fragile planet. ALOT of countries have nukes now and I fear it is getting to the point where some crazy fucker, most likely a terrorist organization, will decide to start using this technology against other people. This will no doubt result in an all out nuclear holocaust that will render the planet almost uninhabitable! Well that's the worst case scenario, of course we are also running out of natural resources at an asstonoshing rate! Gas prices will continue to rise and we will eventually run out of oil on this planet. Oil fields are not an endless supply. This will more than likely lead to some kind of war over what little oil is left. Our planet is full of far to many greedy fucks. America sadly having the most greedy of them all living here!
When you stop and think about it, oil drives the economy of every country! Oil prices go up due to greed and everything else goes up with it, not through greed but to balance the cost to manufacture and transport the goods that we rely on daily!
Through mankinds insatiable thurst for oil, and the greed of people surrounding the oil industry, we have burned far to much and that has created a greenhouse effect in the atmosphere that has contributed to global warming on a monumental scale and will continue to do so. Science has said the earth goes through these different cycles naturaly but we have come and accelerated the global warming cycle to a very dangerous degree.
Humans have fucked this planet up and have been doing so for quite awhile now. Regardless of how you look at it. From a religous point, or scientific point...we are ******* our planet...and we are being punished for that! Religious freaks will say god is punishing us for our sins...scientists will back me and say it's our own damn fault...nature freaks will say ****** nature is getting even. Regardless I feel that us (humans) as well as every other species on this planet are headed for destruction somewhere in the realtivly near future maybe not in our lifetimes but I bet our grandchildren will live to see how the world ends! Or at least how mankind comes to the end of the road!
