Rest in Peace. I remember watching divorce court as a ***** and one day another judge handled a contract case along with the divorce and I found that more entertaining. I wondered that they could come out with a show with civil disputes. Fast forward 20 years and this gem appeared on TV.

I swear, I thought that he had died years ago.
He was the OG... or more like the OJ. Unlike the ones who came after him, he wasn't a show boater and he didn't feel the need to denigrate the people standing before him. IMO, he was a class act who brought dignity to the legal profession.

Your right, Judge Judy denigrates all the time. I think they pick people who will show up like they are going to the beach. I used to think judge alex was a little stiff until the last season where they ramped up his funny. He is a rather funny guy. I have seen court shows where they do it and at some point, I make a decision and so does the judge really. But he goes down a line of questioning that he will say is irrelevant in his decision but he does it anyway as it is humorous.
