Apart from Sanders the rest are polling in the single digits.
His association with Obama will absolutely help, as year after year Obama remains the most admired of all american public figures.

And he's one of only a couple Trump can't play his MAJOR trump card against: the FEAR of SOCIALISM. Which again Johan, if you actually lived here, you would realize is an extremely powerful card to play, no matter how irrational that might seem.

So on the contrary, I think Biden is the last candidate Trump wants to run against. Trump would wish for someone well outside the mainstream that he can portray as a freakish, frightening revolutionary who's a peril to the nation. Biden isn't that person.

Rather than handing a second term to Trump.

Sanders is polling something like 30 points behind Biden. The other "progressives" aren't even on the radar screen.
They're welcome to pursue their agenda via congress. But in terms of having anybody with any even remote shot of winning the presidency, the numbers clearly say they don't.
