Why does Alex Jones keep insisting there's no vetting process for refugees, Syrian or otherwise??
Carter's sanctions weren't based on religion like Trump's - they were based on nationality - as part of an objective to secure the release of U.S. hostages from a sovereign nation.

Do you get tired of jumping through these hoops of the absurd? He took action because the hostages were held by university students. A small group of radicals, not a whole nation. You know, kinda like ISIS.
Those students had the full support of Khomeini and his followers.
Initial criticism from Iran's president shifted to praise.
Conditions for release were determined by the Iranian Parliament.
The Algiers Accords were a set of agreements between the United States and the nation of Iran, not the United States and "a small group of radicals".
