Its really strange, though.. OK, I can understand she is retired for some time now..But, to allow some scumbags to profit from your work like this? I dunno, man.. I always wondered what happened to all this. I haven't really bothered to check up on it lately, until now. I just wrote the whole thing off as fake months ago, and I'm glad I did.
It goes to show the dangers of completely cutting oneself off from the industry to the point nobody can get in contact with that person in that if somebody comes along latter and pretends to be that model to scam others they can't really be stopped if the model doesn't even know it's happening. Ones image will be tied to that person for life, and at least for me I would want to be careful about other people using it, even if I didn't want anything to do with the industry anymore.
I'm going to assume for the moment that Jenny isn't in on this as a more probable than not case, because if she was she could easily have made a short current video to help the person out. (Even that's assuming she's not looking vastly different than in the past and doesn't other people to know that with a video.) Not to mention that she wouldn't have much trouble making money legitimately if she wanted to. She still has many fans, and just wouldn't need to scam people in the fist place baring really letting herself go. Then again, in this industry I have seen so much crap over the decades I sadly can't rule anything out, but it's probably just a scammer.

To say a model should continue to monitor things online so that nothing like this happens, is pretty silly. People move on. Models eventually meet a guy oftentimes and leave the business. They have kids. They don't want anything to do with their old life, nor should they. Their partners may not even be aware of their past life. So separating themselves from it is the best thing to do.
In the modern internet connected world just "separating themselves" is both something that is futile, naive, and unrealistic. It would be nice if it could happen but reality just doesn't work like that, and it's best to not pretend like it does for everybody's sake not least of all the person with past fame. The chance that people close to them don't know about their past is very extremely slim. I know if I gained some fame and some portion of my image could come back to hurt me or screw over other people I wouldn't just wave it off so some dumbass out there could freely use it in my name and make me look bad or screw over people that used to support me. If it's not something that a person wants to actively have a part in then at least they should maintain as much control of it as possible to keep it from being used. It's not exactly helping their cause of disappearing if somebody keeps plastering that person's face all over and pretends to be them.
