Java Malware/Trojan virus deep in the programming

I was told today, there is a Java Trojan in the code itself, waiting for an exploit then it becomes a ransom virus.

AKA: Send money to this address or we'll wipe your hard drive.

I actually had it. Turn off Java and run virus sweep. Leave Java off until it's fixed.

For Firefox users go to Tools/Add-Ons then scroll down and turn off both Java adds.

San Jose Mercury News had an article on it today. Oracle expects to have fixed version of Java on Tuesday.

Done. Thanks! :hatsoff: I just updated to Firefox 18.0.1 and it's crashing like crazy. Having this buggy version of Firefox in addition to worrying about Java is not fun.
