Israeli Occupation of Palestine 'Irreversible' If Settlement Continues

There could have been a solution and peace decades ago, but instead there will probably never be peace and there will never be a solution to this.

The Palestinians under Arafat had a great chance under the Oslo Accords but they turned it down.:dunno:

Maybe we should do like some have did before. Tell them we will no longer have nothing to do with them and say if they finally get serious about peace to then call us.

Never going to happen because we're in a mutual relationship. We need Israel and they need us.

We really don't need the Palestinians and in turn they don't need us.

How do we need Israel? I don’t see it. Having an ally in the Middle East everybody else there hates isn't that much of an advantage. If we ever needed to go in there we could easily do so without an ally to base us, like recent conflicts have shown so that's not an advantage. At best they might provide a distraction away from us because some people hate them even more, but then again, if we weren’t meddling in things over there in the first place for our selfish interest that wouldn't be as big of a need either. All the while we are wasting massive amounts of money helping to support them, when they are at least part of the problem, even if they aren’t the biggest ones, and they don’t really put as much effort into making peace as they should.

If Israel was some blameless and helpless entity that needed the support from aggressors around them I perhaps could see helping them just on principle, but that's not the case.

You have never proved anything right. And what are you? Some kind of radical islamist zealot who hates the jew for their existence and blames all the misery of the poor Palestinians on the Jews.
You quote an excerpt from a book that was written from some British officer before the second world war. Fact is that Egypt and Israel made peace and so did Jordania. Jordania, Egypt and Saudi Arabia have peaceful relationships with Israel. Even Egypt decided to make its frontiers with Palestine more secure by closing all the tunnels leading to it. Regarding Syria, it has always been an ennemy of Israel because not only it did hide nazis who committed crimes against jews during WW2 but it also supported indirectly terrorist groups. Alois Bruner was hidden by Syria, but Syria never wanted to admit it.
Hafez El Assad and now his son Bashar El Assad are not considered as allies of America or Israel. The biggest problem in the middle east is Iran and Ahmadinejhad who went to Liban in order to strenghten the Hezbollah which is another bunch of radical islamic djihadists as well as jew and western civilizations haters. Iraq is also another problem due to the many tribes and religions which are living there (wahabites, sunnites and chiites). Another problem is that Russia and China supply weapons to Iran and Syria.

You say Israel is a great ally. I post up a bunch of stuff which turns that claim into a bad joke. Not much I can do if you're going to ignore evidence.

Pretty ironic how you are such a critic of immigration and the inability of outsiders to accept their new culture, yet you have no problem defending russians, americans and europeans who move to the middle east and steal from and murder the natives.

and nazi connections? puhhleease....the arabs have nothing on Israel when it comes to that- inviting nazis for state visits, trying to forge alliances with them during WWII, selling weapons to people who imprisoned a Jewish activist in a cell painted with swastikas.

more irony....

If Israeli weapons sales to China induce misgivings, including the most recent U.S. blocked sale of Israel's Phalcon airborne radar, the beneficiaries of Chinese arms transfers of Israeli-American technology are even more disturbing. In 1996, as disclosed in the UN Register of Conventional Arms, China sold over 100 missiles and launchers to Iran, along with a handful of combat aircraft and warships. Even worse, in 1997 the New York Daily News reported that Iraq had deployed Israeli-developed, Chinese PL-8 missiles in the no-fly zones, endangering American pilots.

So as I know now, the state of Israel was legally founded by a deal with the owner of the place back then, so Palestinians are wrong if they think they have a chance in fornt of any court.

not even close to the truth

Israel was founded unilaterally and without a legally binding UN resolution and the international criminal court already ruled on the settlements and the wall in 2004 and found them both illegal.

more news from the occupied territories-
The following article originally appeared in Yediot Ahronot on October 22nd. It only appeared in Hebrew, this translation was done by Daphna Baram:
You do not want Arabs in Karmiel? Report to Purple Email!

Karmiel’s Deputy Mayor, Oren Milstein, does not want any Arabs in his town. Therefore he urges the public to report real estate deals with Arabs to a special email address, and his bureau assists the anti-Arab initiative. Milstein: “The email address is operated by a private person”.

Wow you wrote a lot.

Israel isn't going anywhere and it will flatten any Arab/Persian country that tries to deny it's right to exist.
Shalom!:hatsoff:

Looks like the Obama administration has given up trying to persuade Israel to halt settlement construction, big surprise there then. Time for the US and Europe to stay out of the conflict if their mediation is met with such opposition. If neither side is prepared to budge let them carry on fighting and leading their violent paranoid existence, we have plenty of our own problems to worry about.

Can't wait for that next war. Should be a good one.

No doubt the new tactic employed by Hamas will be simply setting fires to trees and watch as Israel hopelessly fails to put them out. I would've hoped that the recent international effort to help Israel with their massive forest fires last week would've persuaded them to alter their position and reduce their stubborness/arrogance especially seeing as Turkey and Palestinians were on hand to offer assistance despite both feeling the wrath of this right wing government in recent times. Oh well :(

Psh, what does anyone else know about putting out forest fires? The Jews have suffered for thousands of years! They don't need no damn Palestinian help!

...Is what I would say if I supported Israel.

Why save the world, when you can rule it?
Wouldn't be surprised if the Mossad comes and kidnaps me sometime tomorrow.
Neither would I, what with all your anti-semetic rants where you claim that Israel is "Allah's blind spot" and that Jews are not people, and should be destroyed.

*cough* I mean, curse those Communist, Moslem Israeli's, attacking innocent civilians.

I wonder if the Israeli hawks will be in charge and will do anything as stupid as using Merkava in cities/hilly terrain again.

On the other they practically give them the finger by settling their land. This is probably not the way you are going to stop all the bloodshed.

I'm pretty certain that's the whole strategy.

LOOK like a big A hole? You think I need to put any effort into doing that?

I can see this helping the peace process get back on track :brick: Has Obama officially given up then :dunno:
