I thought " Premium Link Upgrade " should at-least have been an 'honorable mention' (yes I know, it's semi-autobiographical film).

Tucson, AZ has a movie studio that is modeled after an Old West town, and many famous westerns were filmed here.



You live by Lake Powell? that was the main setting for the book, although it also had various locations in UT, NM, and AZ, maybe even Nevada, I don't remember.

Ed Abbey also used to live here in town.

The town where I was born is Waukegan, IL. It is the town Ray Bradbury was born in and spent his early years in. He used it as a basis for his Stories about Green Town along with some others.
