It is a little limited at the moment though.

sherwood ,ohio

and the prize winner of defiance ,ohio was based around the defiance area where i live

my hometown has less than a thousand residents in it when I grew up there.
It hasn't been immortalized but Bruce Springsteen referred to it in at least one or two songs.

according to the site posted, nothing written about orlando ,florida

The town where I grew up, Nutley, NJ is referenced often in The Illuminatus! Trilogy, three novels written by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson.

Also many Sopranos episodes had scenes in Nutley.

Yuuup, I'm glad you asked!

My town and the surrounding area is where War Of The Worlds was originally based.

Premium Link Upgrade is found in my town centre (Woking).

If only Spielberg had stayed true to the original, my town would be world famous :1orglaugh

Tucson, AZ has a movie studio that is modeled after an Old West town, and many famous westerns were filmed here.

"The Monkey Wrench Gang" by Abbey

You live by Lake Powell? that was the main setting for the book, although it also had various locations in UT, NM, and AZ, maybe even Nevada, I don't remember.

Ed Abbey also used to live here in town.
