It plays more into prejudice and arrogance terms. Your attacking more of a sub set and to say it's racist is almost racist in itself by it's own defention. Your kind of saying that no white people are jewish or no black people are jewish when in reality all religions have different colors, but with the big sterotyping most jewish people do appear to be white.
I still don't understand the term RACISM. Were all part of the same race. Just different colors. Racism almost makes it sound as if were all different than human beings.

See the reason Muslims get so offended is they're not used to the western civilizations making fun of one another. Especially when you live in a melting pot you don't view the terms the same way you would as if you lived in a more closed society. Western civilizations are more open to thoughts.

In my experience, Muslims don't get offended by personal insults. They get offended when any part of their religion is insulted. Getting offended by personal insults is more of a Jewish thing, in my opinion.
The line posted in original post would cause a huge uproar and maybe even cause some people to lose their jobs if it surfaces in mainstream media in relation to any notable figure. Remember Helen Thomas? She did not criticise Jewish faith. She only criticised people of a certain country.
