No, porn isn't bad.
Some insecure, unexperienced stupid guys might get wrong ideas from porn of course, but that's a case of stupidity, not the actual pornos fault. I can only speak for myself, but in my friendship circle, perhaps 90% of the males watch porn, and only maybe 10% of the women. Most girls I know likes "normal" sex, there's only a handful that would even consider taking it up the ass for example, and due to my COMMON SENSE I would never even dream of stuffing my dick in someones ass unless she asked me!
Still I love watching hard core gang bangs, facials, young (LEGAL) girls and rough sex, but I know that's not the way the "girl next door" wants to have sex, and that's like I said, common sense. If porn makes a person degrading towards women, or a sexual freak (rapist, pedo etc) there's something wrong with the brain!!!

If I'll get a daughter and she'd start in the porn industry, I would't try to stop her. Not encourage, nor stop her, I'd still be proud of my daughter. I'm 26 years old and I have no plans to settle down now. I don't think I'll have any kids at least in the next 5 years or so, but let's say I'll get a daughter, and when she turns eighteen, (let' say in 2033) I really hope all prejudices, prudeness (is that even a word?) and religious extremists are gone so that in that case she would be 100% socially accepted.

Naw.Be supportive probably the best thing to be honest so that if she ever got in bother she'd know her family was there for her, I mean most of it is professional but cannot help think theres also a shady side. Alienating and going mental wont solve anything and be especially bad if she fell in with a bad crowd. Dont have any kids yet but like thats my take on it, I mean your offspring are there own people with there own ambitions and desires and I would like think mine would weigh in all the pro/cons of such a career choice.

I agree. Well, I still want to make a statement that being a pornstar shouldn't be a shame in any way at all. Musicians and moviestars are exploited and looses all their personal integrity the minute they get famous, there's LOTS of drugs and shit in those scenes, just as in porn and all other "public entertainment". I mean, getting fucked on tape or getting fucked by media? I don't know how the industy works, but as long as you do what you love, and not just looking for easy cash and then regret it for the rest of your life, (which is the problem) I defenetly think higher of for example Sasha Grey than Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan.

IF my mother or my sisters (or my father) would get into porn, I wouldn't try to stop them for the cause of future shame or something. I hope they won't (and I know they won't) but I'd support them as long as they're sure about their choise. And if someone asked me "Hey isn't that your sister in that scene, bla bla bla" I wouldn't be ashamed either.
Damn, I have all respect for pornstars and I just hope the buisness will go all clean and that stupid assholes stops taking advantage of insecure girls that's not aware of what they're getting themselves into - because of course that shit exists and yeah, in that case, of course porn is bad...
I have three sisters and a wonderful mother, there's nothing in this world I care more about then the females in my life, still I LOVE porn and I have absolutely no stupid degrading sick thoughts of women, but I'm pretty sure some stupid guys get the wrong ideas of gender equality and stuff like that, but that's the result of their twisted minds, not the pornos fault.

No, not at all. It's like asking if sex itself is bad which of course it's not... if wasn't for sex none of us would be here. What's bad and/or unhealthy are certain attitudes towards pornography such as shame, guilt, and misogyny.
