A large segment of the Persian/Iranian-American population in LA is Jewish. It's entirely plausible that she's Jewish-Iranian from LA.

She also looks quite a bit older than 27. I wouldn't b e surprised if she CAME to the U.S. from Tehran in 1982, but I'd peg her at 32.

The tattoo does indeed look like Hebrew, a bit ironic though since tattoos are so frowned upon in Jewish culture.
