Is "Live Free or Die Hard" better than "Die Hard with a Vengeance"?

No. Vengence was much better. Bruce Willis, Jeremy Irons and Samuel L. Jackson made that movie, DH3 great!
Live Free (DH4) was better than DH2. For example:
How did John McClane, an NYPD detective in DH, become a LAPD detective? Then he went back to being an NYPD detective in DH3? That in itself, makes no sense whatsoever!
If I were to rate them:
DH, followed by DH3, then DH4 and lastly DH2. DH2 was really bad.

Era of two career couples. Friends in high places. A highly decorated police detective that moves across the country to keep his marriage from ending, would be welcomed back if it didn't work out.

BTW Good Day to Die Hard (Die Hard 5) will be released Feb 14.

Alan Rickman always plays amazing bad guys!
They really dont make movies like that anymore. 80s action flicks were some of the best and didnt rely on over the top special effects like some action movies of today do. If Die Hard were to be remade then they would go so far over the top it would be ridiculous.
