Define "limitless fredoom"? I don't think any reasonable person nor anyone in this thread has advocated the right of someone to do anything they want to do up to an including the harming of other people.

That would be my definition of limitless freedoms. If by "limitless fredooms" you mean the right of the individual to decide what's in their best interests and their familiy's as long as they're not victimizing someone else, then every freedom loving person should want that.

Did it ever occur to you that virtually everything a ***** learns outside of academics is as a result of what their parents teach them? Again, if we accept your premise of being able to parse what a parent can teach their ********, where do we stop? Or should we be equal opportunity interventionists and allow everyone's point of view to intervene the personal teachings of parent to *****?

I get what you're saying and there's nothing original about people like you who believe they have the right to decide what's best for people they don't know or may not even understand.

Here's the difference between me and you though, I can defend someone's right to believe what they believe, even express what they believe EVEN IF I don't agree with a syllable or what they believe or say.

That's when you know you believe in the concept of freedom.

Here's the deal that life gives you; When you're born are a defenseless being capable of little more than eating, breathing, ********, ******* and shitting. The good thing is in normal circumstances the people who conceived you are there to take care of your every need. The other part of that deal is, you get to wear the **** they want you to wear, live where they choose to live, eat the food they want you to eat, do what they legally want you to do and learn the traditions they want to teach you.

When you reach the age of majority or when you become emancipated here in the US and you're buying your own groceries and living under you're own roof..you also get to decide all of those things for yourself then. You get to decide for example, no matter how much your *** made you eat broccoli as a *** if you don't like it, you don't have to eat it as an adult. That goes for everything else your parents exposed you to as a ***.
