Feb. 28th the Broncos tried to trade QB Jay Cutler in a three-way deal with New England and Tampa Bay. The trade would have sent Cutler to Tampa and the Broncos would have received Matt Cassel(who Josh McDaniels personally coached in New England). Cutler now feels unwanted a now wants to be traded.

Now, I'm a huge Denver Broncos fan but I personally think Jay Cutler is just being a straight up BITCH! The NFL is a business and he needs to realize that, no player is above the team. What does he want from us? To get down on our knees and suck his dick!?

I also think that Josh McDaniels should have never lied and should have just been straight forward with the whole situation in the begining. Anyone could have understood why he would have wanted "his guy" and this situation should have easily been put to rest.

What do you think?

For Denver to actually go through with that would be pretty stupid. It was stupid to even consider it. Not only do they **** off their teams young franchise quarterback who looks like he's on his way to being the best in the league, but they want to replace him with somebody that's probably a relatively unknown and played one year and looked good with a very strong supporting cast. Unless they know something about Cutler that nobody else does, not even the other NFL teams, or there is extenuating circumstances that nobody else knows about, I can't see the logic in it. Cassel might become a very good quarterback, but he's a lot more of a crapshoot.

I'd be pissed if my team was trying to trade me behind my back too. I side with him on this one.

If your boss tried to swap you for another employee from a rival company because he thought that they were a better employee than you, aren't you going to be a little upset with the company you're working for? Yeah, you are. I don't think that this situation is any different. Sure, football is a game, but the NFL is a business and it's players are all employees of their respective teams.

Yes, Cutler is being a bitch. Shut up and do what you are paid to do: play football.

Cutler is pretty good but as long as Brady and P. Manning are playing, he'll never be the best QB in the league. Furthermore, he's going to need to win at least one Superbowl to be in the same company as Rothlisberger or even E. Manning for that matter. I'd also take Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers over Jay Cutler, but admittedly Rivers is somewhat of a little bitch too.

If Denver does this, it would be really stupid.

You don't trade a guy with a strong arm just to get college hotshot who doesn't know the pros' style.

Besides, who exactly would Denver rather have?

I thought you were talking about the professional lifter. I was about to say "wow what could this even be?".

Don't know anything about the Jay Cutler in football.

He's also a lot younger than Manning, Brady, and Brees are. They are in their early 30's already and eventually age will catch up to them one way or another. Rothlisberger and to little lesser extent E. Manning successes are a product of being on a very good to great teams as much as their actual skill, and winning the Superbowl was a team not an individual accomplishment. At this point Cutler is better than both of them. Rivers is the most likely one that's already in the league to challenge him going forward for the next decade, but as of today I give Cutler a slight edge. Of course San Diego also isn’t stupid enough to think about trading Rivers. Good quarterbacks are so hard to find that to even think about just trading one that seems to project for future success for some unknown doesn't make any sense at all without very extenuating circumstances. No system is that good or that important to give away players like that, and McDaniels should know that. You make the system fit your talent not the other way around.

Look Jay has a right to be mad but the day they named Josh Mcdaniels coach i knew he would try to aquire Cassel. Yes they way they went about might suck but the NFL is all about Business.

Didn't Cutler ask to be traded now?

How is he being a bitch? He is a pro bowl QB, and they went behind his back and tried to trade him for one season wonder Matt Cassel.

I hope he gets traded (to the 49ers) and another one of Belichecks protoges falls to the bottom of the division.

This isn't a normal job, this is the NFL, it's apart of being a professional athlete. How many professional athletes have been in trade talks? Alot, but do we hear them bitch and complain and demand a trade when they find out? No!

My words for Jay; "GET OVER IT"!!!

Also, keep in mind, what has Cutler done to be put in with the elite? Nothing... yet!

Don't get me wrong I love Jay Cutler, and that arm... DAMN!!! It wont be long until he's in that elite class!

Cutler has an ego the size of the Rocky Mountains. That seems obvious. However, the new Broncos coach is more of a douchebag in this instance. You don't LIE to your players. And you don't start talking about making changes when you don't have a fucking plan.

I don't blame Cutler for demanding a trade at this point. The Coach lied to you. You're not going to listen to him.

The Broncos need to make a deal. They need to show their other players that they are in charge. If Cutler is untouchable--good luck winning more than 3 games in 09-10 Broncos.

I think swapping Cutler for Leinart is doable. Offering Cutler to Detroit is doable for #1 pick. Offering Cutler to Tampa Bay is another option.....

The Broncos could even talk to Philly about McNabb for Cutler and a draft pick.

I think swapping Cutler for Leinart is doable.

Uh.... No! Unless Arizona gives us a 1 round pick for the next 3 years.

Offering Cutler to Detroit is doable for #1 pick.

Thats also possible!

This is what I think would be a good deal:

Broncos get: #1 pick & Calvin Johnson

Lions get: Jay Cutler & Brandon Marshall

Broncos take a risk on a #1 pick, Lions take a risk on Brandon Marshall!

The Broncos could even talk to Philly about McNabb for Cutler and a draft pick.

I would like that too!

Also, the most important part of this story is... CUTLER WAS NEVER TRADED! Obviously the Broncos did value Cutler because they never went through with it. The Broncos obviously wanted a little more than just a Matt Cassel.

I hear players bitching about trade talks all the time. The only time they don't bitch about it is when they demand the trade from the beginning, like Eli Manning.

Yes he's being a bitch. Doesn't he know that this is a business and everybody is vulnerable to being traded? McDaniels shouldn't have gone all bad ass when he hasn't coached a single game in the NFL, but Cutler is acting like a chick that holds a grudge against another chick for the rest of her life.

Cutler has a right to be upset. It's obvious his coach wants another quarterback and nobody likes the feeling of being unwanted, especially since Cutler is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league.
