Damn... No matter how I'm killed, even if I'm cut into little pieces by a fanatic Hindu in the middle of the street who got his own religion all wrong and only eats kosher beef I still wouldn't get media attention, just because I'm butt ugly?

Absolutely not!
The sensational death by confused Hindu would fit right in with the 24 hour News Channel sensational death/religious fanatic criteria...they would have call-in polls on Hinduism, religious fanatics, and why should we care when butt-ugly people are horribly killed!
Every few hours for 3 or 4 days, under a breaking news banner.

When any person dies, it is a tragedy. From the most famous person to the lowest scum, they are still a human being with a mother and father. Sure we all say "oh that person deserves to die", but when it comes down to the fine point, even though they may not be missed by us or we may not give them any thought, they still are people and whatever higher power there is, he/she just lost another of his/her children.
