It sounds to me as if there is a war going to evolve on here: The Members against the Moderators??? Instead of there being a Freeones Party, there will now commence (or already has begun) a Freeones War.

I guess everyone wants to know the jackanory around here with bans on ppl.

001 was ****** for either being LR or saying something against a "invited Guest"

All we are hearing around here is he was ****** for being LR.

But what confuses me and others is that Super Mods & other Mods KNEW he was LR and decided to give him a 2nd chance....even some members who had a grudge with him decided that too.

:glugglug: lmfao m8. I don't think there's a war about to start, it's just a particularly heated debate - kinda keeps the forum interesting, lol.

But with all due respect to the admin's and mod's here, Marie particularly, who I respect, I have to agree with Union Jax.
We ALL know there are ****** members who have rejoined under different names, and nothing is done about them. Maybe it's 2 accounts, maybe it's 30 - makes no difference if we're going to say a ban is permanent.

I think this is why 001's ban is being discussed so much, as it seems a little like double standards. Plenty of people knew who he was (including Mod's), and were willing to give him a second chance - which he didn't *****.

That's just my honest opinion.
 
I don't flame (or ban) people for speaking there mind. People can tell me they dont like me or the way I mod. I can take it. :) If i'm wrong, I will own up to it. As far as I can see (just went over the ****** people for the last 4 months) the people ****** where: ****** people signing back up, and spammers.

We don't edit peoples posts, and really only delete spam on the board. WE do close threads made by ****** people after they sign up again. Along with spam threads.

Mabye I should always say why I close a thread like that so everyone understands. Yes I will do that for now on.

We mods to talk quite abit about people on the board, but have made mistakes in the past. I even said something hatefull to a member. One time in 2 years isn't to bad. (i dont' even remember who it was)

I like this board because of the babes and the great people who contrubite to the board. I dont' want to ruin anything, I'm just trying to keep the board safe for the members and for it to be used for what it was set up for. To support Freeones.com

Am of the opinion that things are fine here.
There've been plenty of arguments ever since I've been a member here and it's not like everyone who argues with another member immediately gets ******.

This whole discussion is based on wheiter or not Lordraven should be allowed to post.
AS far as I'm concerned he can,if he broke the rules in the past freeones and or moderators can decide wheither or not he can return/get unbanned.
That probably happened with Scorpion/Phil77.
If continuing to ban him has everything to do with having multiple accounts then I'm of the opinion that all members that have multiple accounts need to be ******.
All a matter of consistency.
So kick HERo/HERo2/whatever other accounts he has out aswell if having more then one account is sufficient for getting ****** and if not then don't ban LOrdraven.

Fact is though that all of that doesn't have anything to do with freedom of speech.
An argument can be made and if you look in the mirror you know damn well that you've been arguing/calling someone names yourself at these forums with or without throwing neg rep around.

Besides,the way I see it the majority of the people that complain about how freeones and the moderators do things here aren't exactly posting a lot of links to babes are they?
I got the impression when I found these forums that they where about babes not about matters such as political crap.
A lot got said in the political threads and only when two members started calling one another **** TEMPORARLY bans where given.
What I'm trying to say in this paragraph is that I'm of the opinion that if moderators decide to ban someone they probably have a good reason for that.
Other then that I remember that during the first months I've been a member here that freeones.com included these forums where an ok place to search for pictures/wallpapers of babes you like.
Then certain individuals signed up and made these forums all about the talk section/political crap.
If it's all talk you're in for then maybe you do need to go and create your own forums somewhere on the net.
Don't forget to create a special section where those idiots (sarcasm) that actually post links can do so so that you and the other talkers can few their contributions.

People are wearing uniforms in the form of a blue ribbon. A rift is developing between the mods and the members.

I haven't been on the board a lot the last week and I'm glad I missed all this. Viewing this from the "outside" is overwhelming. I'm not saying that anyone should not stand up for their rights, I just think the forum has lost some of it's lustre.

There are good mods and there are bad mods. They are not all equal and not all of them have the same capacity for good judgement.

Besides,the way I see it the majority of the people that complain about how freeones and the moderators do things here aren't exactly posting a lot of links to babes are they?
I got the impression when I found these forums that they where about babes not about matters such as political crap.

I highly have more respect for anyone on here who has put in their 2 cents about this issue. Except for the person who called the mods ****'s. Thats all I gotta say about that or else I'll probably get ****** again. J/K

The more QBall and Dinalt post, the more my respect for them increases.

:hatsoff: The forum has lost a lot of its lustre for me. I'll agree that not all Mod's have the same capactity for good judgement, but there should be safeguards in place BEFORE bans are issued. (See BigDan's comments in the Special Treatment thread for more).

:hatsoff: Thanks for your opinions, but I've got to disagree and say I don't weigh someones worth by how many links they provide.
A forum can cover many topics, and this is why it's broken down into several sections.
