Wot! That is an astonishing take. But let's keep it as a one-time spoof
I am sure Iron Man will come back, with RDJ either playing Iron man himself, or - that is where "Back to the Future" fits in - in some time travel storyline, which makes him, say, the new Iron Man's ***, and thus being the *** that keeps popping up in reference scenes like in the fiirst Iron man movies. It's not like Iron Man, the comic was not full with partly hilarious time jump stories, I had one comic book, where he was fighting a future Iron man, who was deeply evil, with Excalibur, which Merlin, who popped up in the story, gave to him, that was a crazy story. And once Doctor Doom is introduced into the new MCU in the upcoming second Black Panther, the path to magic/hich tech etc is completely open

They decide to swap cartoon faces with real faces, change a few settings, tweak the .. I dunno, details or lack thereof? And show the results.
I wouldnt call it nightmare fuel, necessarily. But if you saw it, IRL.. you'd freak out a bit.
Would kinda like to see the comic book faces 'mapped' onto an actor's face, and maybe make the whole movie into a cel-shaded affair.
I know its just in the proof-of-concept stages right now.. but in 20 years it'll be just another filter on your mid-range smartphone's camera app.

I am very happy the MCU team is making the transition from the movies in core about Captain America, Thor, Iron Man (And a bit of Hulk) towards Scarlet Witch, Black Widow and Vision. And I am sure there will be introduced some usual suspects that are "side avengers" in the comic books. Plus the transition of the Cap America title promises to be good cinema. In the books, the story line with US Agent, Bucky (With the racism issue, passing Bucky by over being black, initially). that is going to be a great movie.
If they go full depth into Wanda's fantastic pregnancy and childbirth with Vision, into the fight with the devil etc., now that will be some heavy ****

I am dead sure that the Marvel managers will find a way to do some more spinoffs via Netflixx etc. They already did some other Marvel side stories, and they could go a LOT further. And you KNOW this **** would sell like fresh cut bread!
I mean, look at Game of Thrones, that was DEEPLY crazy, and man it was a success.
On a side note, the annoying issue with beoved Marvel names being inhabited in the FreeOnes babe bank, like Black Widow, I wonder, when some male pornstar will take "Iron Man" as his FO moniker. Huh? HAS to happen!
