Internet Security 2010 BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually ran into a nasty virus for my PC today called the Internet Security 2010 virus. It acts like I have a bunch of other trojan viruses infecting the system and then it wants you to download a fake anti-virus program that will require a credit card to download. Oh, it also disables your task manager and pretty much disables any current anti-virus program you may already have. Apparently this thing has been going around a lot in just a short amount of time from what I've been reading. Of course as most should realize that don't download anything it asks you to, never press OK on any warning pop up. Whoever made this did a pretty good job of making it appear legit. I found a youtube video on how to remove it

Also, a "GoBack" program (which is what I am trying right now to see if it'll stay away but I doubt it will) on any of your current anti virus programs, those can work too. Norton's worked for me. Good luck and hope you don't get it; I just ****** the last 3 hours of my life trying to find a way to get rid of this thing and I think all I found was a temporary solution. But a lot of people saying the way the guy above describes is how to get rid of it.

Yeah, I got hit with this twice. Although the 2nd time might've been because I didn't get rid of it fully. Both time it was from Tube Sites. Not the big ones but some of the off brand amateur porn sites. I got rid of it by re-installing my operating system. I avoid all tube sites now because of it.
It does look legit, It even uses the Windows Security logo. I knew it was fake once it asked for my credit card number. Nasty little virus. It took out my virus protection and firewall. I was getting hit with audio adds playing constantly. Numerous pop ups as well.

What browser did you use when you got infected with this virus?

You should use Firefox and install free addons such as McAfee SiteAdvisor, Dr. Web anti-virus link checker, FlashBlock, WOT, NoScript and KeyScrambler

I only use firefox and norton always works great for me but as rod hugo mentioned above it could be from the porn tube sites which I do occasionally go to

With McAfee SiteAdvisor, it can also install on your IE browser, and it will warn you if you are entering a site that could harm your computer
