No one has a good first line?

Why can't you just say "Hi how are you doing?"

If you are going to plan the whole conversation before even saying hello its likely to fail. Girls are shy and insecure as well but that doesn't stop them from talking to us.

Lose the exact science approach and be yourself even if that means looking foolish.

People can talk to girls online but not IRL why? you know that online it can be a man you talking to.

Actually there is good to be found on the internet. I have been dating the same girl for over 3 years now, good to the core. but we have both agreed to keep it a secret that we met through yahoo personals. gods honest truth

for me, its ok to date online, there is still hope for finding an honest guy online..

You don't want to meet an honest guy online. Let me show you why, by being honest myself...

I am a 27 year old loser who has a career that is going nowhere. I'm 5' 7", 215lbs, I'm pretty out of shape and I have an extremely undersized penis. I live alone, I don't have many friends to hang out with and I haven't had a girlfriend in years. I have a stupid haircut, which may or may not be contributing to that last fact. I don't make a lot of money, so I can't afford to pay for dinners, a night out or presents.

So, to review:

You don't want to meet an honest guy online because you'll just meet guys like me and not some beefy stud with a 5 o'clock shadow.

Why would she want a guy like that?
As soon as she marries him he will become a couch potato with a gut.

If the guy is honest that's a good thing.
No matter what he looks like or what his job is.
A guy with a job that keeps him away from his ******
is someone women should avoid.
No matter how much he makes. He is married to his job.

eHarmoney is a good site to find someone.
Because they are selective on who can join.

You just have to watch out for some of the sites.

a definite "No"... and heres why. I ve had this terrible experience in the past . This chick I met on the internet. and then she took all my information and photographs. and when it was her turn she refused to reveal her identity.

how is everyone doing?

there is a lot of good points, but also all types of guys, girls, use the internet nowadays,

from young to old, so you get a lot of good people on the internet,

i my self never went online to date but,

on a forum,a writing forum i shared some poems, and started talkign to this girl, and we've been together over three years we are gettin married,

you never know man,

I've met several really nice women through online dating. Sure beats trying to meet a woman when I'm **** ***** in a bar and can't even form a complete sentence.

There are, that's why Internet dating sites or even a message board could be the place you find the one you marry.

People say keep an "open-mind." But, do they really mean that, or is it a defense mechanism? Hmmm

Sounds good, I hope everything works out for the both of you. :hatsoff:

Ya know my last G/F I met thru a dating site. From my own experience, I would say just be careful. I will say she was one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. However, the computer is just a good wall to put up for people to act how they WANT to be. Not how they REALLY are.

People say to keep an open-mind. Until something they don't like is brought up. Basically most people are hypocrites.
It wasn't directed at you, if that's what you thought.

You're welcome. ;)
