Interesting Facts

When I was in my early teens, I used to get bad nose ****** when I had a cold and the air was dry.
One time it just wouldn't stop, so I went to the hospital and the first thing the doctor asked was if I had used ******* and he needed to take a ***** test before doing anything, and would have to report it if the test was positive for *******.
I agreed and the tests were negative, but all he did was stuff cotton in my nose and told me to hold my head back until it stopped ********.
There's some facts in that anecdote.

Was this in Russia? 'cos I don't remember anybody, lleast of all the police, giving a **** about the law in Russia unless they could make a straf out of it.

That's weird. In my pre-teens I suffered from recurring and severe nose ****** and at one point when I was 9 years old I had to be admitted to an emergency room because that nose ***** incident wouldn't stop. The first thing the doctor asked me is if I did ****. I told him I liked **** and he started to call the police before my parents explained to him that I meant coca-cola and that I was too young to know what ******* was and what the hell was wrong with him. They ended up stopping the nose ***** with a frozen compress then I got the problem fixed for good by getting the ***** vessels in my nose cauterized. True story ... except the **** part.

Why doesn't that elevator have buttons with the number 4 ???
Just stumbled onto this thread now, but I'll answer with an "fact" of my own:
In East Asian cultures (Japan, China, etc) the number 4 is considered unlucky as it sounds like the word for "death".
So like how western cultures don't have a 13th floor, many buildings in those countries don't have a 4th floor.
