what was Dubya's biggest deficit-busting mistake? His tax cuts for the rich or his meaningless profiteering-for-his-oil-buddies-and-Cheney's-pals-at-Halliburton boondoggle disguised as chest-thumping-hand-over-heart flag-waving-for-the-Southern-Rednecks-and-FixedNews-Crowd warmongering?

Let's all be honest about this. People wanted to see a black president even if he didn't have any knowledge of what he was doing. Not saying that about Obama, but a black male president is something easier to grasp than a female white president. That's due to women struggling throughout history, but that's a different topic.

People jumped ship from the Republican side to the Democratic side very fast due to the debt most likely. Government needs to focus on spending the people's money better, not it's money.

FK - I know your democratic and probably love your president currently even if he doesn't have the same views as you, but HOW THE FUCK DID HE GET A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE? Surely there were more deserving people.

Both sides suck in my opinion, but w/e.

I've seen nothing in this thread that has to do with hating Reagan. We're back to the hyperbole again, I see. Being critical of someone does not equate to hating them.

As for facts, to say that he was the best President since Lincoln is not a fact. It's simply an opinion.

reagan was certainly the best actor president in this nations history! as to the national debt it ebb and flow, except if war were declared, are not in the control of the government it has much more to do with the economy than the government but i'd rather have a strong education system than one cut because it cost too much...so i guess i'm pro-debt

There's way too much more involved with national debt (and I guess by extension the economy) than the political affiliation of the president.

Um, no, wrong. Try again? I don't "love" Obama. Not at all. I'd give him a "D" grade right now (at best), but not for any of the reasons that Fox "News" is feeding to its gullible hordes.

And I agree, he didn't deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. But then, I actually think peace is a worthy goal. I'm gung-ho on diplomacy. And you?
