******* in the real world...

Lotta cross talk on the "Rough Sex..." thread; but it made me think of a question. I kind of have the opposite problem:

I've dated several girls who liked to be held down and ******. And they asked me for the same.

Now, look... I love me some women. but I'm not normally into that kind of thing. So, it bothered me when they asked. I participated begrudgingly --and it did vastly improve the experience for the girls. Like a lot. So, I kept it up, just being careful I didn't hurt anyone. It felt very weird to me, but Lord it did alot for them.

These girls didn't like the spanking thing, don't like S&M to my knowledge. I know depleting the oxygen supply can increase the intensity of the experience; but these girls wanted to be held down, ****** and fucked.

This kind of thing escapes me. What is the deal?

I dont see any fun in doing something like that my self.

One wrong moment and the receiver is dead and the giver may as well be. I don't see how anyone finds it exciting. Why must everyone always take the mile? Look for that bigger 'high' ? If finding satisfying sex gets down to that and you're that bored, give up sex and go to bingo.

Thanks for the response, folks. I don't feel as much of a weirdo (funny as that sounds).

For the record, LL, I've never hurt a fly. And I hope the girls I'm talking about are happy with someone somewhere. And have the right meds.

I suppose the playful kind, just sort of having a hand on the throat is all well and good, but things can turn bad real quick if there's any actual restrictions in breathing involved. It all depends on how serious this girl of yours wants to get of course, but there has been deaths related to this particular fetish when people have gotten a bit carried away. Not only that, but I'm quite sure you risk long-term damage to the throat itself even if you take care not to cut the air supply for too long. All in all, not something I'd recommend.

How anybody can think cutting off oxygen to the brain to be fun is beyond me.

A lot of people get off on it, either cutting off air or getting air cut off. It's dangerous though and two things will eventually happen. Either someone dies or there's eventual brain damage if its done too often or too long.

This is probably one of the scariest things that occurs in the BDSM world (and I've seen a lot of extreme stuff). I understand 'why' this type of play goes on, it's one of the ultimate exchanges of power. Controlling your sub's air and being controlled. However, imo, it's just too dangerous to mess around with and a lot of dominants will say the same even if their subs beg.

If people want that sensation, there's perfectly safe ways of doing it yourself by controlling your breathing (such as lamaz type breathing). I imagine it's not as intense as actually getting ******, but it's a hell of a lot safer.

has anyone read rising sun? good book, talks about the turn on with chocking and erotic ************.

im afraid its real and true.

some people just like it. there is a part of a womans sexual psyche that gets off or gets turned on my male dominance. think about it, men are dicks now, but imagine how bad they were back in the day. rough, gruff, pissed off. its nature helping women reproduce.

yes, some girls have this side of them open, some dont, some know about it, some repress it, some are just not going there. but its true, it can be hot.

personally, i do not like ******* at all. i find it a turn off, and i have experienced it first hand. i have an ex who used to want me to act out **** scenarios with her. and not the kind where youre the professor and shes the teacher type cheesy scenarios, i mean she was serious. she wanted to be serious. kicking, clawing, struggling. that was the only way she could get off. and yes, *******.

it got to me. i didnt like it but at the same time, i was in love and her sex was so hot, etc. i tried to help her fulfill her fantasies as best as i could but man. she was out there. rough **** turned her on.

so yes, it does happen. some girls like *******, actually some guys like it too! lets not forget them. ive heard many stories about male erotic ************ and auto-erotic ************.

To **********:

I have a LOT of respect for many of your posts and the general way you handle yourself. And from what I know of you, I like you. And I mean the following as no insult whatsoever; just an observation and a warning (though I am quite sure I am not the first):

I honestly believe that you are having sex with WAY too many partners and for the wrong reasons.
You are trivializing things that are potentially very harmful and very serious. You type that hooking is fun and should be a great job, that herpes is no big deal and that you don't worry about ******* someone while ******* them during sex because, among other reasons, 'the body is pretty tough'.

I honestly believe you are obsessed with recreational sex like a **** addict obsesses about narcotics and that you will find it either a) leads you to emptiness or b) to jail.

I sincerely hope I am wrong.

I am not trying to start something with you because I realize that you are too far into your obsession to see clearly what I am typing.

But I would be negligent if I did not type it.

I will end by typing what I said to someone very close to me who used to have sex A LOT with MANY different, attractive partners - 'I envy that you can have sex with all these attractive women. I definitely don't envy that you do have sex with all these women.'

I am not trying to hijack this thread. I just wanted to type that - publicly.

A lot of stuff is just screwed up. I'd rather just relax and give and get as much pleasure as possible with someone I liked. ******* or injury just goes completely against that.

i have to agree , the ******* thing seems outside of the "sex" area i tend to go to . so ,speaking for myself,i wouldn't be into it even for my partner's sake , it woudl be time for me to move on in that situation.

Doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me, sounds like a serious personality disorder that's heavily into control.

I don't think we're prudes at all. I don't like *******. Thankfully, I've never done it or been with a girl that wanted it done. I would probably refuse to do it.

I read a book by Walker Percy called "Lancelot." Percy is the only Southern writer worth a damn, imo. This was a very shocking piece of fiction. Maybe the most interesting philosophical work from an American writer I've read. Percy constructs a main character who, though in an asylum, contemplates life. One aspect the character examines is Love/Sex. He comes to the conclusion that Men are rapists. Women secretly desire to be *****. A lot of our sexual/relationship problems could be "cured" if we all accepted our nature..and had a lot of "no strings sex," basically.

I don't agree with that idea but I think there is more societal pressure on men to perform in the sack. Women seem to have more liberty. Maybe the fact that these rough sex threads are all positioned as Men responding to the wants of women bear this out to a degree....
