In a fight who would win? Tiger Vs Lion

Born & raised in captivity? The tiger, since it's bigger & slightly stronger.
Born & raised in the wild? The lion. Lions often fight against eachother & other predators, like hyenas. Tigers are solitary beings that avoid fights when possible (mostly because getting wounded means a slow death for the tiger since it can no longer hunt, a problem the lion doesn't have, since other lions will hunt & the wounded lion will still get a scrap of food).
The posted youtube video proves the first case, as these animals are born & raised in captivity.
The discovery channel program proves the 2nd case, since they went with animals born & raised in the wild.

Well, the Tigers are at the top of the AL Central, though they're just barely over .500, but the Lions did prove they were the most hapless team in NFL history last year, though I'm sure Jim Schwartz will improve on that. Well, seeing that the Tigers are over .500, and the Lions just couldn't break .000, I'm gonna go with the Tigers.

This kind of stuff makes me sick!! I really hope some action was taken against these morons. But I doubt it.
Same goes with those "game shows" they have or used to have in east asia pitting one animal against another in a fight to the death.
But the question was 1 0n 1 , not 1 tiger versus a pride of lions
I was talking about 1 on 1 in the 2nd case as well. Please keep in mind that a male lion does nothing but fighting all his life (in the wild).

Also lions dont always fight in the wild , once in a blue moon do they fight , it usually end up in a stand off & 1 will back down or run away , only when they are defending their pride do they fight !!!!!!!!
When hunting lions will alway go for the weak or young , they only really go for bigger prey if they are starving to save getting hurt , tigers on the other hand have been known to single handedly take on full grown elephants & tigers will take on anything that gets in their path .
I once asked a safari guide why the lions were allowed to roam around , while the tigers were in an enclosure?
His reply was "lions are easier to control , once youve fed them , you could walk thru there bit they arent interested!! Once they have been fed as long as you dont pose a threat they will not bother with you!!"
He said about the tigers "Tigers kill for fun , once they have eaten they still kill!! Tigers are not to be messed with at anytime always be on your guard where tigers are about" :wave2:

Anyways, going by no real official sources, I'd have to go with the tiger. They're usually bigger & have a way cooler (possibly THE coolest, though Cheetahs & Leopards give 'em a good run for their money...) camouflage pattern (STEALTH IS ALWAYS IN STYLE)...Lions are just kitties with fuzzy collars. lol

I seen one it was a crocodile vs great white & the croc won!!!
There is no way on this gods green earth that a croc would beat a great white shark , for a start crocodile are built for looking above , there eyes are for scanning whats around them from the side or above , great whites are built and usually attack from underneath , one bite croc bleeds to death or the shark finishes it off , plus the speed of a shark in the water the croc wouldnt get a look in , I find these programmes on discovery its usually the one you think will win that gets beat. Also any real life footage I have seen 9times out of 10 the tiger is spanking the lions arse :thumbsup:
