Premium Link Upgrade is coming under fire for calling members of the Rutgers women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos". Premium Link Upgrade

I'm not an Imus sympathizer by any means (I don't listen to or watch his show, so I'm not that familiar with him), but I think it's no worse than what other shock radio people like Howard Stern say every day. Imus will probably do what Stern has done, and move to satellite radio.

Also, the Rutgers basketball team is milking the hell out of the whole thing. I watched several clips today where the players were ******. What happened to letting criticism roll off your back? If you think Imus is that narrow-minded to categorize you and reduce your achievements, ignore him. By attempting to ruin his career, you're putting yourself on the same level as his ignorant comments.

It pisses me off that the media has played this thing to death. Somebody said something offensive. So what? ****-speech happens every day, and not just to African Americans. It happens to the poor, the homosexual community, Muslims, etc.

If you don't like what a radio commentator is saying, you can turn the radio off or turn the station at any time. Apparently in this country we have free speech, but only to the extent that it doesn't offend anyone else. :2 cents:
