Important announcement regarding the future of this forum

A lot has changed in the adult entertainment industry in recent years—especially the growing legal requirement to verify the age of visitors from the UK and other jurisdictions. Implementing these measures is not only complex, but also expensive.

Unfortunately, the FreeOnes forums currently generate no revenue and cost us a significant amount to operate. With new legislation coming into effect, continuing to run the forums in their current form is no longer sustainable. We're left with two choices: shut them down entirely, or introduce a small monthly fee to help cover costs.

We've chosen to keep the forums open—but going forward they will be accessible only to paying members of FreeOnes.com. To make this more affordable, we're reducing the price of our Bronze membership tier to just $3/month.

We understand that this change won’t be welcomed by everyone, but it's the only viable option to keep the community alive while staying compliant with the law.

We're also in the process of making the rest of the site PG-13 compliant, which will allow us to adapt to new regulatory environments and better serve a broader audience.

We'll closely monitor how these changes are received and make adjustments as needed.

So I have a question. Just liked to say I have been here since 2006 ish 2007 about. This is really sad to hear and I will definitely miss the friends and posters I have met over the year on here even with how the forum has slowed somewhat. My big question is in regard to Freeones' main website with galleries and bio of performers. Will that still exist. When I go to Las Vegas almost every year in January I discover stars and girls that are really cute and just starting out and I love to search them through the Freeones main page which then takes me to their bio's so I can see more pictures, vids, etc. I really hope it stays open because this to me is "the" database for just that! I love finding new talent when I go to the AVN convention and then also posting here about them and hopefully getting their name out there! I saw someone's comment on this exact thing and it's really sad that this will not be possible anymore for performers who I see and or like when I go! I think this is truly a shame to them as they won't have this outlet anymore for their brands.

I am afraid if there is no other option, it's a shame because this place has been a great place to converse and discuss great starlets/ babes. I do have to say a lot of my favorites were from the generation before and they aren't making content anymore as they are 40's and or entering their 40's age. I also got ****** from here a lot for many stupid reasons over the years so I wish I could do just one more stupid outrageous post to end on my past posts but I don't believe I can finish out any stronger than this post. 😜

I think the problem there is, blocking the UK, the USA and the EU (perhaps also Canada?) would **** off the majority of the forums traffic.

They don't have to cut off everyone, just the areas that added the restrictions. Those people can use a VPN to get around the block to continue using the forums as normal. VPNs are now so ubiquitous anyone can easily get one or even have one already without knowing it. A lot of antivirus companies started their own VPNs so even regular people have access to a VPN already included in their AV.

Back in the day I was a member there. A very good site with plenty of complete films that came from other studios. Back then Verotel was the processor. FreeOnes enrollment is using it now.

Sort of like what Mindgeek/ Aylo has as SpiceVids today.

From what I can gather, Payones.com seems to have been sold off by FreeOnes years ago. I appears to be a bang.com site now. (same layout) -- Meta-Billing, Segpay and Epoch now do the billing instead.

Even after upgrading to Bronze and linking my forum account sign in I still seem unable to access any of the forum posts. I just get a message saying: You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

Am i missing something here?

This whole situation does not seem to be handled very well. And I am not trying to be an annoying smart-ass, I am just asking whether this is really the right way.
The lack of the communication in this thread from admins/moderators is quite sad. There are many negative comments, some suggestions, some questions, almost nobody is replying for days.
The whole situation was not explained very transparently.
The locking of the forum was done with no prior notice.
And there was no public discussion whether there might be some other solution taking place. Given that this is such a drastic change, imho it might have taken place, even if it's believed this is the best thing to do.
Again, I am not trying to be irritating. I just hope we'll get a better closure than this.

You're username on the forum is synced up with your MyFreeOnes account. That's good. However, you only have one post on the board and no reputation points. That's what's giving you the issues with with the forum. Post more. Get reputation. +1 from me.
