because you threw MSNBC up as an example of those who interfere with factual dissemention. how wasn't Trump's tax return entirely factual? That was in fact his actual tax return. Maddow's take on it was certainly biased and her lead up was misleading.
It wasn't a complete document. Maddow is great at opinion and analysis, but I wouldn't turn to her for straight information. I tuned to Fox News for about five minutes last night during Ingraham's hour, she had Alan Dershowitz and Ken Starr on her panel. I found out everything I needed to know about where Fox is currently at in that five minutes, "We don't have enough information", was the sentiment from both Starr and Dershowitz.
in that example, isn't "we don't have enough information" actually a credit to them instead of coming to conclusions on not enough information or simply making it up?
how many retractions has Fox News had to issue versus say CNN, the Washington Post or the New York Times?
Fox News doesn't issue retractions, they just ignore all the **** they get wrong or lie about.

I take offense to this seeing as I'm undocumented. Immigration is a lot more complex issue than what the mainstream media and many news outlets portray. We are ultimately human beings, data is bad when it comes to judging individuals by it. A lot of the data coming from anti- immigration organization tend to be from think tanks and they are more concerned with proving a point than actual analysis.
I am well aware of the cato institute but mimizing the negative impacts of ******* immigrants is not going to solve problems. Many illegals are either criminals or gang members, the fact that 270 people in the caravan were reportedly already convicted felons, is giving Trump a total and valid reason to seal the border permanently. Enter the country legally and by meit, if you are someone who can bring something positive to the USA and that you have a higher degree of education then try your luck, but the visa lottery has to stop too because most of the time, those are the bad apples that are chosen. When you are weak on borders, crime happens.
