Bowing to what I perceive to be as an emerging trend here at the [edit]Ones Message Board and Massage Parlor, I have given strong consideration to changing my screen name.
My motivation? Why among them, it would be that I certainly wouldn't want to be left—allow me to rephrase that—and not that there's anything wrong with being left—forsaken by the on-rushing wave of contemporary sentiments and social awareness so expressed here at [edit]Ones, as a brief review of the screen names of some of our newer members having joined within the past month or two will readily illuminate.
Also, what better way to insolently vaunt one's own arrogated eminence as duly-accoladed representation of the vitality of this message board than to be one of the few so honored by having the designation "Officially Checked Quasi-Dictator For Life" displayed beneath their screen name?
Special request to the digital artists among us: Now accepting submittals of graphic works depicting variations of my Premium Link Upgrade that would reflect the prospective change of screen name, as well as of those suitable for use as a signature..
