To be clear Sam, no one is saying that you can't/shouldn't vigorously defend your beliefs.

And let me add this: We all know how much I hate talking about myself :thefinger: but I'll use myself as an example. I'm a Liberal, and if there was any doubt, each of those quizzes that you have posted in the past have said so. But I am staunchly pro-2nd Amendment. I believe in separation of church and state but I don't set my hair on fire if I see a Nativity scene in front of the courthouse. The point is, I'm a Liberal, but I don't let other Liberals tell me how to think. I weigh each issue on its own merits and make up my own mind how I feel about it.

Too often is the past (and you seem to be admitting to this), what you have posted has smelled of, "This is what other Conservatives think, so this is what I think." Post what you think, post how you feel. And don't feel like you can't disagree with your own side, and don't feel like you have to give a shit about every single side issue.

If what I'm posting here seems a bit arrogant....well, it seems a bit arrogant to me too. It's unintentional, but it came out that way. I just hope this thread is genuine and it stays that way. You and I could have much better debates than the ones we've had in the past.

You were extreme and over the top, to be sure, and wasted a lot of energy on pointless yelling...but you drew out the true nature of many of the lamest FOs posters, with their over the top comments wishing you death, misery, and the worst of misfortune.
Comments about your wife, insults ranging from your mental retardation to wishing your mother had aborted you (from so-called Pro-Choice Libs and Demotards, no less) abounded...people often reveal their true nature when they get angry.
You did make some topics not easy to discuss due to an extremely radical first post, often on a good topic but starting from such an extreme point, making it unpleasant to join in the shit-fest.

For those wondering if I am now going to sit in a circle with others singing kumbaya, well.... No. However, I respect those who choose to do so. It's just not my cup of tea. But, they have every right to sing, preach, and cry over anything they so desire.
