I've been wondering about this for awhile and I'd love to hear your opinions. What do you think about condoms in porn? I know most people don't like it but if that's how you feel, why? Is it b/c of the cum shot or are there other reasons? Obviously I know condoms don't feel as good as doing it without one but why is the sight of it a turn off for some? I'm posting this simply out of curiosity!

I've seen alot of French porn and nearly every scene uses condoms. Dunno if it's because it's foreign or whatever but it's still hot enough to jerk to. Strangely though, I don't like watching American porn with condoms. I think it may have to do with the French stuff being filmed in a more realistic way, with more natural lighting,intimate atmosphere,etc. And the French stuff usually ends with a standard facial/oral cumshot, so no big loss,really. Given the issues in the L.A. industry, condoms would be a sensible precaution at the moment.

I don't watch nearly as much sex porn as I once did, but when I did it was quite a lot and I tended to find the scenes which were shot with condom usage were done by folks I found made boring shit and the dudes wearing the condoms were mostly dickheads to start with. That and the typical scene, very unoriginal, that's what it was in my case. Like bonerland above stated it has more to do with sensuality and reality over fake and adding a condom doesn't matter much, but one can argue it adds to the fake appeal... in my opinion, so... the ones who use them are not folks I tended to enjoy at all really, to recap.

Uhm...this is bizarre said by someone defending an STD test faker who deliberately infected God knows how many performers with his criminal action.

I love Marc Dorcel films and from what I've seen most performers use condoms in the scenes so I wouldn't have any issues with it. Thing is what happens to the performers that are known for harder or rougher gonzo style scenes if became mandatory? It could be the death of genre or perhaps more innovation?
