Exactly. Except many of them are likely to only have one parent, probably the mother. She's also more likely to be low-income as a result. This increases the likelihood that the child could grow up to become involved in criminal activity....perhaps even in a capital crime. Ironic that the very same people who so vehemently defend the fetus before it is born would be as equally inclined to deny funding to help subsidize the cost of the child's upbringing by those whom they consider to be unworthy of such assistance....and yet they are more than willing to spend millions of dollars to have that very same child executed as an adult for a capital crime.

What's the old saying about an ounce of prevention? Somebody needs to rethink their priorities.
