Ice Road Truckers

I started watching this Sunday nights but missed the first episode. Guys doing their normal job, running big rigs over a frozen lake to drop supplies at a diamond mine. A sort of reality / contest show, to see who gets the biggest paycheck. They run it a few times every week.

The History Channel did something like this called "The Deadliest Catch" when they went out on fishing boats in the North Atlantic;

I might check this out. "The Worlds Biggest Catch" was a fantastic show.

Tonight at 10 on the History Channel after it was on at 7pm. It's just like Deadliest Catch, equally good. If you miss it, it's on a lot during the week, sometimes early, early A.M.

Discovery has "Deadliest Catch" as well. I haven't seen that trucker show yet, is it any good?

Watching "Deadliest Catch" on Discovery Channel right now, actually ... Cap'n Sig and his crew on the Northwestern.

I caught that initial episode of "Ice Road Truckers"; looks like it might actually be interesting.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I've seen previous specials on these guys...I'll tell you what, I've been driving for 21 years...and you'd never catch me do it. I could get over the icy roads, but the cold, and breakdowns....no way I could deal with that.

A good friend is a trucker, driving a very long time. He's done it all and that scares him.
