I was watching the food network.It was one of those food challenge shows.One of the judges told the guy his ice cream was too cold.How is that isn't that the point of ice cream:dunno:

I can see that. Depending your tastes, ice cream shouldn't be too solid (cold).
Now if someone tells you your ice is too cold....
I like it when ice cream is start starting to melt a little.
What is the best ice cream place in your town? We have Ray's which is top notch. love the simple ingredients; natural cream, sugar and vanilla. The good old high fat stuff!
I've always been a fan of Thrifty ice cream. They sell it at Rite Aid.

I don't know that real cream rich ice cream can actually get hard like the common Ice Milk infused ice cream products that are common in todays marketplace.
But who makes real ice cream with the health conscious / calorie reduced market ? Presumably Ray's and a handful of others in relatively small quantities.
The only time that I intentionally pull from the back of the freezer at the grocer (looking for hard ice cream) is when I anticipate delays in getting home.

I usually don't care about the temperature of the ice cream, but I just don't like it hard as a rock.

Well I like my ice cream really cold not hard as a brick but I want ice cream not cool cream I'm just saying:thumbsup:
