First you to become a powerful Alderman and learn the political ropes from the Chicago Machine, then you can move up to become the first Latino mayor of Chicago (after Rahm), when you are on the National stage, run for POTUS with the entire US Latino vote on your side. This is exactly what my plan is. Although I'm debating between mayor or U.S. Senator after being Alderman. I would run as a Democrat.
