I think I'm running out of horror movies to watch....

My Penis Is Dancing!
I like the Omen had such creepy music in it.

there is also the old school movies like Wolfman, frankenstein and other Boris kosloff movies.

Mike Oldfeld, Tubular Bells. Great stuff. His entire Tubular Bells album is an experience in itself.

I was underwhelmed by this after all the hype. The 2nd half is where it all falls apart for me, without giving away any spoilers it really makes no sense given what has gone before. Its basically torture porn for the middle class. Although France has made some pretty good horror movies over the last few years, I enjoyed Frontiers, Them, Inside, Switchblade Romance (aka High Tension) despite having a totally illogical twist.
I would also recommend the Belgian horror Calvaire & British evil teenagers movie Eden Lake.

Eden Lake is one I would highly recommend. I very rarely get shaken by a movie - to me, they are only movies. But, wow did Eden Lake have me freaking shaking.

However, if you want to see horror as it was meant to be, I would recommend Mantos, The Hands of Fate. Deep hurting. Deeeeeep hurting.

you would like "Shuttle". I just watched last night and it was fine. I'd give it 8/10
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0880648/

I will check into this, thanks.

You should watch movies from other countries than the US. You could start with italian directors like Dario Argento, Mario Bava and Lucio Fulci. Their movies were often heavily cut (or banned) in many countries when they first came out but most of their movies have been released uncut on dvd now.

Actually, I'm starting to get a pretty good size collection of Italian and Asian films. Off the top of my head I own Suspiria, Opera, Trauma, Demons 1 and 2,Bay of Blood, Baron Blood, A Blade in the Dark, Delirium, Macabre, Shutter, Infection, Dark Water, Premonition, 13: Game of Death, Dead Waves etc. I'm just kind of in the mood for something campy.

I would highly recommend - Laid to Rest, 100 Tears, Gutterballs, Nightmare Man and Timo Rose's Barricade
But the best Horror I have seen Recently is Martyrs

Laid to Rest is awesome. I loved both the killer and the main actress (the directors wife) was hot as hell. It reminded me of the 80s slashers. The killer did a great job showing his emotions without ever saying anything. My favorite part was when he was getting his "tools" from the trunk of the car to start killing in the convenience store, as he takes a deep breathe and sighs lol. The director is supposed to be releasing a remake of Night of the Demons starring his wife again. If its as good as the original or Laid to Rest it should be alright. I haven't heard of any of the other movies you listed except Nightmare Man....I'll look into them, thanks.

A few of you mentioned Eden Lake, Martyrs, and The Descent, so I'll put these at the top of my list. I'm kind of surprised about the Descent though. Is it really that good? I remember at the time I thought the previews looked kind of bad. Does anyone know of any 80s or 90s zombie movies that haven't made it to dvd? They just now released Night of the Creeps, but its kind of a horror comedy type thing.

I hope I read your post wrong... You have never seen The Exorcist? It's the greatest horror movie of all time!

The Shining is another great horror movie.

If you want a more recent one, I thought The Strangers was very good, and if Paranormal Activity is playing in your area, you should see it.

And it might be more of a thriller than a horror movie, but Cape Fear is always a good movie.

I'm just kind of in the mood for something campy.

I just saw Drag Me to Hell tonight, and if it's campy you want, that's the movie for you. If you haven't already seen it, anyway. It's a blasty blast :D

Yeah, please see The Excorcist if you haven't. Good lord.

And that reminds me of another one. The Excorcism of Emily Rose. That movie was terrifying.

Sorry for the double post. Forgot to mention the horror comedies. Idol Hands, An American Werewolf in London, The Lost Boys, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (little known, but pretty cool) Zombieland, which has become one of my favorites.

And mostly a comedy, but still a great flick for halloween... Dracula, Dead and Loving it :D

Yeah, that's another good one, but its bout 60% courtroom drama and 40% horror. I've seen that movie so many times the horror scenes seem more corny to me now, but the courtroom scenes are also very good.

I don't know if you play video games or not, but those are the only things that can scare me anymore. I hardly jump or even get startled at movies anymore. But play Silent Hill 2, FEAR, Dead Space and you'll sometimes shit your pants. Also any of the Resident Evil games (except RE5). I think it's because you are more focused and thus more tense and thus more likely to be scared.

Last movie I 'jumped' during was 28 Days Later and that was just when the car alarm went off at the beginning

If you want something "campy" you should watch the cultclassics Blood For Dracula and Flesh For Frankenstein.

I am glad for Underworld 4 though.

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Alright I make it quite obvious that I have a severe admiration for female feet, so what movies would cater to my loving of Barefoot, Bloody girls? I am not really including any of the 80 or 90's era movies, but if they were good you can list them *Chances are, I prolly saw them* but feel free to list them, in case I didn't.

I am referring to the horror movies, from lets say 2000 until present time? I always check whats playing on whatever cable or satellite channels I have or have had during the period I am asking about, but I can never remember what movie it was. & most of them, I've only seen once & would like to get them on DVD, or atleast rent them.

So I am looking for the newer most recent horror movies with heavy doses of Barefoot girls, if they are barefoot & bloody that's an added bonus. :D good thing its only the movies cause I love some SICK stuff. thanx in advance everybody.:hatsoff:

Yes, I've seen The Shining and Exorcist, I own them. I was mostly talking about 80s and 90s slasher type stuff. The reason I didn't mention those are because they're from the 70s and more psychological so I didn't think they really fit into what I was talking about.

Didn't know Behind the Mask was a horror comedy? I'll look into that. I saw Zombieland and thought it was awesome. Fucking Bill Murray lol.

Sheesh, I count at least 11 remakes. And am I to understand that one of them is Hellraiser? I dunno about that. But I'm looking forward to 28 Months Later. Gee, how did I guess that'd be the name? lol. Did anyone else see the preview to the Nightmare remake? It looks alright so far, but I'm not sure about his face. It looked kind of cgi....I really hope not.

Sorry man, I can't help you there. Usually when the girl goes topless running through the woods I'm not looking at their feet lol. I'll let you know if I notice anything though.
