I Remember; Don't Vote Republican

^ You're welcome and thank you for sharing it with others :)

Great vid.As much as the dems may not be doing things perfectly, the republicans are not a viable alternative if we remember what they have done and stand for.

Wow... Ummmmm Studing politics right now in college and Just did a paper on the actual finacial crash and this video is wrong...lol
look up the congresional hearing back in the late 90s and early 2000 when it was the republicans that stood before congress namely Barnie Franks and his commitee and told them that Fannie mae & Freddie mac the two largest mortgage brokers in the country. And said that they needed to be slowed down and brought under control. The republicans were told by a laughing Franks that there was no problem with how those companies were doing and wall street was fine!!! Keep in mind it was Clinton and Franks that wrote the low income housing bill which allowed just about anyone with a job no matter how bad their credit score was to buy houses with no money down.
It was the housing crash that started the rippel effect and caused the big crash.. Still is the biggest part of the situation we are in today....

Both sides have the same blame!!!

Not REP or DEM... vote for the best person running.... which everside!!!

But No the facts!! easy to youtube the actual session of congress if you look......

You might want to watch this PBS frontline episode. It really lays out what how and who got us into a crisis. And while these people served in both democratic and republican administrations, their no regulation is needed POV was and is much more at home with the republicans.

I predict that most people will not remember. It is human nature to blame the party in power for the present state of affairs. It's just the way it works. It's too bad there isn't another viable alternative to the republicans. Voting for them is like being a rat swimming back to the Titanic. Indeed, how soon we forget.

Besides, the conservatives are more motivated to vote in this election than the liberals were in the one that swept Obama into power 2 years ago so I see big gains in both the House and Senate for the GOP. Then, it'll be 2 more years of gridlock and finger-pointing before the election of 2012 when we'll do it all again....continuing the insanity of hoping for a different outcome that never seems to happen.

Einstein said something to the effect that insanity was "...doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different outcome."
Well voting for the Douchecrats would be insanity.

Nice post.....but you are trying to reason with a bunch of liberal fiends that frequent these boards. Reason does not soak through to these people.........

Democrats must be really nervous if their campaign tactics revolve around smearing Republicans. You'd think they'd spend time touting their own accomplishments. Oh yeah... never mind.

Haha I was just trying to go by actual recorded facts.. Not any kind of news program like my Professor made us do for our paper. All news programs no matter who they are lean one way or the other. Only the actual records speak the truth..... theres alot of pointing fingers and screaming going on which I dont understand.

You have two totally different approaches to government with each party but both have flaws due to the fact that neither can tell the truth, they only tell ya what they want you to hear.

From what we have found politics is no longer about representing the people its about whats in it for me!!

there are strong arguments from both side and believe it or not in most cases both sides are right!! to a point!! lol if only you could merge them we would all live better, But for some reason when people start talking politics they stop talking and begin yelling!!

Either way I love you all and we are all allowed to have our own ideas...:)

Oh, that's right. Democrats have never accomplished anything.

So they've accomplished everything that they campaigned on? I must have missed that. :dunno: Well shit, why are we even having elections?

:elaugh:

I'll just wait for the election results. I don't really feel like arguing politics on FO.

As everyone hopefully knows, I have no party affiliation and am a fiscal conservative and social liberal so please (and not excusing the democrats) explain to me how voting republican isn't exactly what you describe? :dunno::confused:

Some balance in Congress is needed and will hopefully be achieved tomorrow.

Oh, so you are admitting that there should be some "douchecrats" in Congress? Well, I would expect nothing less from a centrist like you, Trident. :1orglaugh

Side note....I think you are going to get your wish. People are pissed and don't know where to turn so they turn to the only option they have. Sad....:(

Seriously? You think Trident is a centrist?
