I was walking downtown today, and saw a flyer for the "Vivid Comedy Tour". On the flyer it just had two girls' pics, and my first thought was "well, I don't exactly watch pornstars because they're humorous people". Apparently it's a couple of male comics traveling with a couple of Vivid girls..in this case it was Monique Alexander and Sunny Leone. Seems a little ridiculous to me...the brand doesn't need to be extended that far. They already have the market cornered at the porn shops...every other item you see has a Vivid label somewhere on it, if you look closely. The whole comedy tour thing seems really cheap and beneath them, but maybe they think that's what they need to do in order to get more customers to buy the products??

i think he was thinking along the lines of that since they threw in a couple of vivid girls, it would attract not only the comedy stand-up lovers, but also the porn lovers as well. *shrug* its still lame. i dont really like vivid that much myself.

I don't like vivid that much either. And it doesn't help that their screenshots from their videos always are blurry.

Vivid sucks, their scenes are always dark and blurry. You need freakin night vision goggles to watch a flic.
And they always zoom in on the dudes face for like 30 seconds every damn minute. They have beautiful women and they just waste them.....
I mean "Whats the deal with that?"

Vivid knows that most people would kill, let alone pay, to meet a pornstar in real life but sadly most men can't visit Las Vegas for one of those porn conventions so they travel around the US with pornstars because they know men will do anything to meet one.

Maybe, but I still think it's not a very well-thought idea. If they really want to give fans who don't live in large cities a chance to meet the stars, why don't they do mini-conventions? If they charged admission, they'd make back all their travel expenses and more, I'm sure. At the local strip clubs, whenever they have a "featured entertainer" the parking lot is full. Why not do a one or two day meet and greet thing at a small venue?

That would be a terrific idea! I hope they're listening to you, sputnikgirl...if I knew that I could meet even just 2 or 3 of my fave pornstars, I would plunk down maybe 30 bucks or so to get in. I'm sure some guys would pay more!
