A new type of thread that will hopefully be enjoyable and good to discuss upcoming games yet to be released. Information about the game, and whether or not you think it will be released on said date of release or not.

In example:

I just read earlier that Fable III is slated to be released during the 2010 holiday season.

I say it won't be and be out around Spring 2011.

Oh... and another one I am (sort of, don't know what to expect yet) looking forward to is Final Fantasy XIII. It'll be released in Japan this December. Don't think we'll see it before the next Summer....

It says there is a release date of 2010 for FF XIII. I have names of the characters and little information regarding them all. Game Informer (Oct issue) has a preview of the game in regards of the characters and little tidbits about them.

I am still wanting to try out FF XII, I just can't come to get it. I am afraid it will the franchise for me in a whole. Not to mention sad to see what it is becoming, well, what SquareEnix (Whoremasters) is making it.
 
Electronic Arts is working on a new title involving "Jack the Ripper" it gonna be released somewhere after "Dante's Inferno" (a game i am also waiting on).

anyhow i think it will be released in november 2013 but will be delayed because of the new releas of COD modern warfare 3 :P

Don't bother trying XII it's the reason I'm not sure I'm really looking forward to XIII... But I still hope for the best, I guess...!
There's no release date yet, besides the Japanese, as far as I know... But because of the Japanese release, we do know a lot concerning the characters and stuff. There are some pretty cool trailers that were shown at this year's Tokyo Game Show...
 
As I stated before: Final Fantasy simply isn't Final Fantasy anymore. SquareEnix completely bastardized it, whoring it out, and just stripping the soul out of it.

Why else did Sakaguci and the rest of the original Final Fantasy team split and make their own studio? I just wish they could get a foothold so they can keep producing games such as Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. Two incredible games from the original makers of Final Fantasy.

Aside from that I am looking forward to MagnaCarta 2 and Resonance of Fate. They hopefully will end up being great games.

Fable III seems too soon to be announcing. Given Molyneux's record of loving to open his mouth and yap about his excitement rather concrete information surrounding the game, I think Fable III will be delayed. Then again, maybe lessons have been learned, and it will be on time :dunno:
 
When is Enigma gonna release Amish Wars:Pitchfork Peril? It's been delayed for nine months?:dunno:
 
Final Fantasy XIV being talked about now...

Screenshots are gorgeous, at least.
 
Apparently, there is a Thief IV (Thi4f) in the works. Many from the original first person sneaker are working on it. Release date, unknown.

It seems to be, in essence, Final Fantasy meets World of Warcraft. Of course, still unique, it will focus on Final Fantasy XI, XII, and a sort of revised version of X-2's clothing is your job. If want to be a warrior you grab a shield and *****. A mage you get a robe and staff. It is really gear implemented.

I say it will be like any other MMORPG. Those who love it, along with Final Fantasy, will eat it up. It is so far going come out for PS3 and PC... possibly the 360 if Microsoft and Square(Whores)Enix resolve issues.
 
I think Bayonetta will be a unique game. Might not go over for a lot of people, but it will surely be a hidden gem of a game, but I see a sequel for it that will make it popular. I love the quirkiness of it.

Yes, my good sir, Thief 4 is in the works. Still in early development. I say a late 2010 release. With delays, possibly early 2011.
