i hate the smell of pot, but i moved away from the ghetto last week and now live in a nice neighborhood, no apartment blocks with 17 people living in one apartment here, just nice houses with swimming pools and double garages... thus, if someone smokes pot i won't even notice.
and if i were to notice i would call the cops, just as i would if they were making noise at 3am. it's a matter of courtesy and respect towards others. i listen to metal, but i use headphones for that instead of blasting it out the windows like a maniac.

They were doing something ILLEGAL on their own property. It'd be like me complaining because someone called the cops because I was insert crime that you find abhorent here on my own property.
If you want use of the plant in question to be allowed then by all means get usage of it made legal and the sales and distribution of if out of the hands of criminal gangs.

I live in a very nice neighborhood. I have a house with a pool and two big backyards. I even have the double garage you mentioned. Pot smoking happens in all kinds of neighborhoods, not just the hood. My neighbors are actual hippies and they like to smoke their weed. They are nice people with good jobs, they just like to get high a lot outside. They have two sons that also smoke weed at their house with friends. So sometimes there are 10 people over their smoking pot.

It is dry in Tempe too, but when you water things a lot they grow. I have really green grass and it lives through the summer too.
In a situation where I had to constantly smell my neighbors stuff, and where I told them to make it stop coming into my place, I might call the cops on him. It would not because of the weed. I don't really care if somebody does that or not, but it would be because they would then be inconsiderate nitwits that didn't think about anybody else when they let it drift around the entire neighborhood.
Exactly and this should end the argument going on in the past pages.. Everyone agrees that hey pots not such a big deal even if they dont like it but if you have people around you that obnoxiously smoke even though it bothers you then the police should be called... It doesnt really matter whether it should be legal or not the bottom line is it is illegal right now and if you are going to do anything illegal you shoulndt flaunt it and if you do you are stupid and asking for someone to call the police

I had 3 or 4 joints - called dagga in South Africa - years ago. Now, when I cough sometimes, it is like I can still taste that. In the mind most likely, but it still tastes yuch.

I took care of it. They were really cool about it. I don't care that they smoke it, I just don't want it coming into my house all the time.
Damn. My next door neighbors like to smoke their weed in their backyard. The smell of it always comes into my yard and house. I just came into my bedroom and the smell of it is so thick. Yikes.
