Good point, but I think that's just so that the state can make some money off of you.I bet back in the day, when more people were hunting as a main source of food, there were a lot more hunter's and the state(or whoever is in control of that ****),was making a **** load more money off of them. Now they probably are just happy to get whatever they can from the fewer hunters that are still around.

There are quite a few hunters still around.

I just don't see a reason to ***** a license on everything or anything.

The ******** hearts don't seem to see: ******* don't think like humans, they breed quickly, they cause damage to property and nature especially if there are too many of them in one area, and on and on.

I like *******, but they can't be left to breed unchecked.

About "over population."

That's a big lie.
The population of the world could lie side by side in Premium Link Upgrade

I've heard people in New York and LA call the rest of this country, "fly over states." There's a lot of land not being used that could be.

Most people just like to rush to big cities for some strange reason.

.

The funny thing is that before White settlers came here to America, they were.Seems like the ecosystem got along fine then.

You do know that *techically* the ******* were here before we were, right? What kind of damage to nature do ******* cause? I'm interested to see how you respond to that.

You make a valid point, but it still comes back to the fact that more that likely the overpopulation is our doing and stemmed from conditions that we created.

That's entirely possible. But until we go the way of the Chinese, and start implementing mandatory limits on ****** size, we have what we have... and the human population will continue expanding.

What do you think the solution to that might be?

They were? ;) That's not a good excuse and a lot of them are extinct and humans aren't responsible for every extinction.

Well, too many ******* in one area and they will starve.
Like the koalas were doing in Australia when they let them breed too much.

Too many of one ****** can effect the popualtion or cause the extinction of another.

The increasing populations of various deer species are edging out bird species in North America, with the white-tailed deer being the species plaguing our region. The decline in forest birds has long been blamed on factors such as disease, loss of habitat, and an increase in the number of ******* that prey on bird nests. These factors continue to impact bird populations; however a recent study has focused on the effects of overabundance of deer on birds.

Too many elephants can cause damage to a forest. they eat the bark and **** the tree. Deer can do this too and they eat tree buds off fruit trees and berry bushes. Just look it up you will find more.

"Controlling deer damage in Idaho horticultural crops and gardens" it's a PDF serach it.

I only hunt what i eat, that is why I dont duck hunt. People need to realize that hunters actually do a service.
If we didnt hunt the ****** population would grow and these ******* would die a horrible death.
All antis can screw, its a natural process, Like i said i only hunt what I eat.

If you hunt for food, I have no problem with it.

Trophy hunting is another matter. f you simply get a thrill out of ******* something, I think you are one sick ******-fucker.

I agree.
If you are hunting to live/eat/ then fine. Or hunting to keep the ****** population under control then it is fine, apart from that to hunt just for the 'thrill' of it makes you one sick ******-fucker.

I don't like it anytime. But if people are going to do it, they better eat it. If you do it for sport, I'll woop your ass. For sport.

That's another very good point. The reason that the population(s) of certain wild ******* (key word:WILD) seem to be "over-populated" is because we, as humans, have fucking destroyed their natural habitat by tearing down trees, paving roads and building houses, which leaves them with little or no place to go. Now, since there isn't as much land available as there used to be (before we destroyed everything to make homes for ourselves), ****** populations are more condensed which makes it seem like there is an over-population, when, in all reality, there aren't too many ******* at all; just not enough space for them to live in.

A lot of people tend to forget that humans haven't been around for all that long. The Earth is BILLIONS of years old and humans have only lived on it for an extreeeeemely small portion of that. *******, on the other hand, have been around for eons longer than we have. The Earth belongs to them, not us (in a sense).

We always have and always will interfer with their ability to live; not the other way around.

:2 cents:

I am a hunter and a fisherman. Any ****** that I ****, I grill. Would I shoot a deer with a ******* rack? Absolutely. With a big rack there is usually a lot of venison. I also hunt rabbit and squirrel and eat both. I have never understood trapping however. ******* an ****** for it's pelt is wasteful. If you can eat it and use it's hide that's a bonus.

Now nuisance ******* are a different story. If there are no predator species present you do have to control prey species populations.

i see nothing wrong with huntig people have been doing it for millions of years, as long as you consume what you ****, and don't overkill then have fun.

Hunting seems to be a lot like politics, religion, and major social topics: you are either on one side or the other and very rarely will you ever convince anyone to think otherwise (or on your side).

Or Michael Jackson there is us that can see he is a Paedo and his blinded loyal fans no matter what facts you give them they just wont belive it , theres no middleground

Tbh its not the ******* that need population control , its us humans that need population control :dunno:

While I personally don't **** ******* just for the sake of doing it, if somebody else out there just wants to do it for sport or because they find it fun it doesn't bother me that much. They're *******, not people. In the end their reasons or justification for doing it are irrelevant to me. People ******* them to hunt for only certain reasons would just be ******* somebody else's morality onto them when they don't effect anybody else.

I will also echo the people out there that have stated there are other reasons to hunt ******* other than food. For some of them, humans hunting them is the only sort of control mechanism that is available to keep their populations at a healthy level and in balance with the ecosystem. Since none of us want to or are going to go back to stone age level populations and technology levels the reasons nature can't stay in natural balace doesn't matter as far as hunting goes.

Tbh me and my mates never even thought about population control , we were just away camping one night and the girls were trying to talk them out of shooting ducks & rabbits , but they were going to skin them and eat them , so I thought that was ok and one of my mates who was there goes sport hunting so it ended up a big debate between us so I just thought Id ask!!!

And the poll is just saying , exactly the way it went , most of us thought it was ok if you eat it , a few of the girls didnt like it at all and the other mate was giving it "if it moves shoot it" he really doesnt care lol

whether or not i agree with you doesn't matter , but isn't it just as ignorant or blind to assume the man is a ********* as to assume he is completely innocent? i'm just saying rarely does someone say " i'm right about this and you are blind and misinformed by loyalty" without being the pot that calls the kettle black.:dunno::2 cents:

Theres always one , they just cant help themselves :nanner:

I think Zell and Chef pretty much summed it up.

Two words: Natural Selection.

Nature doesn't need people to take care of it, it can do that just fine on it's own. It needs people to leave it the fuck alone.

As for the people that hunt for "food", I take it that you are opposed to the cattle industry then?

Sorry, when you stop at McDonalds on your way out to your hunting trip, don't give me **** about how it's Ok to **** a deer because you are going to eat it. It was unnecessary for you to **** that ****** since you have plenty of other sources of food.

So I say unless you live entirely off of meat that you hunted and you don't buy it from the grocery store and restaurants, then it's not OK.

Basically If you live in a first world nation and you are rich enough to live in a house, then you don't have any justification for hunting since you have more than an ample amount of food supply. I'd say that you don't even have any justification to eat meat at all since you can easily be provided for on a vegetarian diet.
