It wouldn't be so bad if they updated the fucking thing every once in a while. They've had the same 5 episodes of House up for like 3 months! 
two things:
for non-US residents, use Premium Link Upgrade . it hides your real IP behind an american one.
and use veoh rather than hulu. you have to install their webplayer to see more than 5 minute previews, but they have lots of stuff. i use google video to search veoh because somehow it seems to show me more results that way.

Unless they've changed it,veoh has just about the same amount of content as HULU,and some of the content links you to HULU,so it suck just as bad imo.

These are the only ones you need.Ninja Video is ok too,but I don't use it because I can find almost anything else on the other three.
The only thing positive that I can really say about HULU is that the actual quality of their videos are almost second to none.It's just too bad that they don't have enough of it.
^^ Yes the video is hih quality, but there is very little to choose from.

I haven't been there for awhile, but it seems to me that most of the videos on the site are available at their partners' websites (nbc.com, fox.com, etc.).
Tammy Hulu.com is a site which provides pretty good quality movies, previously aired t.v. shows, sports features, etc. with limited advertising interruptions.
For example, if you like a show like "House" you can go to Hulu.com then search for it and find in some cases full seasons worth of the show and only watch a fraction of the commercials you would if it were a t.v. rerun.
Like I said,the quality is awesome,but the quantity sucks balls.There are a few full episode shows on IMDb,and the quality is just as good as HULU.I watched the whole season of CBS's Harper's Island there.
If you want to see more stuff but sub-par quality,check out the sites that I already mentioned.I've watched entire seasons of about 4 or 5 shows and didn't mind the quality.Sometimes the audio and video doesn't sync up,but that doesn't happen all the time.I'm watching True ***** and Weeds now online.It's just so much smarter to watch it for free than paying for premium channels.
