How to respond to people in the non-beta section.

I'd like to solve a very old scene request thread. but it's in the old section. Any way to go about this? They've been looking for a movie for years, and I finally found it. Should I just start a new thread in the beta section announcing I found it?

Post in it and it'll be consider solved when you come back to THIS thread and do a /reply on this post, in particular. (the trio of things on the right: "Like Quote Reply")
(Or very nearly done, I gotta go click some things)

Then I'll delete this thread, here... and it'll be all good.

The problem is Mr. @P0keher that what you are trying to post isn't just anything... but you want to offer to fileshare which is not allowed here.

Posting objectionable things is gonna lead to your posts never seeing the light of day, so it's not a matter of where you post it but what you post. The reality is there is no good place to post what you want to post.
