They should make a huge sponge the size of Australia to absorb all the extra water from the melting ice. Then Superman can lift it into space and put it in orbit around the earth so it freezes. If we ever need extra water, Superman can blast the frozen sponge moon, we can name it Spongebob, with his heat vision and the water would rain back to Earth.
