How Much Is Propecia?

Hair Club for men???

Thanks for the sarcastic responses but I'm actually trying to figure out if this is an expensive thing or not.

Does anyone that actually uses it want to say how much it costs per month for the ************?

Does anyone here use Propecia for hair loss? I'm wondering how much it costs per month?

Actually nobody can answer that. It requires doctor visits and a ************, so there is your first veritable. Your use (amounts and times a day) prescribed to you by your Dr. is based on your need. Your insurance and what it does or doesn't pay another variable. How long you must continue to use it if it works for you yet another. :dunno:

I think a visit/call to your physician could give you better answers than anyone here. IMO

That's too bad that these pharma corps have to keep "potential" hair loss remedies under their guard, i.e.- Under the exclusivity of costly, wasteful, unnecessary appointments  This is the type of capitalism that pisses (me) off. IIRC - Most of these products are hit or miss, most missing.

If these products actually perform, don't they kind of just "help preserve" what hair you have ? That said, by that time, the dvc remedy would certainly sound to be in best order. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx . . but scraping my skull every two days

DAMN ! What a drag this gettin' old(er) stuff !- All of your hair migrates to where it shouldn't be and is absent or thin where it should !

Now, where did I put that ear / nasal trimmer that I bought myself for Christmas xxxxxxxx :confused:xxxxxxxxx:dunno:

I would be surprised most insurance plans would cover that, wouldn't that be just considered something "cosmetic" and not a medical neccessity?:dunno:

My ******* takes it. He actually takes Proscar, which is the same **** as Propecia. Propecia is the 1mg version of the ****; Proscar is a 5 mg version of the ****. The actual name of the **** escapes me now, but I know it starts with an "F".

He takes the 5 mg Proscar pills and cuts them into 4 even pieces; that way the strength is about equal to one Propecia pill. This is evidently a much cheaper way to do it; I think he told me it ends up costing him like 35 cents (US) a day. I'm not sure, but I think he uses the generic brand. Thats about all I know. It has worked pretty well for him, though.

I love these "Ask Freeones members when you should really ask a doctor" threads!!!

While that is the case with most companies, hell its hard enough to get them to cover burn scars. Who knows maybe some dermatologists put the charges down as acne treatments ?

Its a crooked world my friend. *states the ex-medical insurance form file clerk* ;)
