How many songs are on your iPod?

I just bought a Zune and I'm currently in the process of ripping all of my CDs into it. So far I have 295 songs in it but I'll have well over 1,000 when I'm done.

Im like you cus Im rip mine. Im being serious and not lying when I say all the stuff I d/l i have owned before or I plan to own. Like the new Manson album I d/l'ed. I will buy it once it hits the shelves.

Yep, that's the way it works for me too...I download some songs to see if a certain band sound good or if a certain album sound good and if it does then I buy the full album!;)

if you download it, why would you pay for the cd too? :dunno:

Well I love Death Metal. Those bands do not make much money. Same with industrial groups. So i like to support the band and I also like having the artwork and such.

I haven't got a iPod. *shrugs* Yet life goes on, amazing isn't it? lol :D

I also don't have an iPod and will never get one. To me, there's just no point to having one.

My friend bought an iPod a few months ago because she said that she "NEEDED" one for her car so she could listen to music on her drives back and forth from work. 1) Her "drive" to work takes no more then 10 minutes, at the very most...2) She spent over $300 on her iPod, which she has to plug into her ALREADY EXISTING CD PLAYER in order to hear the music. Good investment.

I download 1 or 2 song from an album and if the songs are good I buy the full album or I download a couple songs from a band and if it sound good I buy an album from the band... I prefer to have actual albums than downloaded albums...

I only download music to check out if I should buy albums from certain bands.

I have 30 songs and about 7-8 tv shows that I need to catch up on.

I just bought a 30 gb last week. Its cool. I like it. Still trying to figure out how to use Itunes.

Is the battery usage only 2 hours. I'm going on a trip and will be spending about 5 hours in the air. Is there a way to charge on a plane?

Also, are there any websites that offer songs for less than 99 cents each?

0, but the Mp3 player I have has 1594 songs on it

www.gomusic.ru

Songs are anywhere from .15 to .19 each. If you get the whole album, you get a 10% discount on the price.

I've used this website for a few years and it's always been fast and cheaply priced.

Excellent site. Thanks for the info.

Usually I buy them because I actually like owning the CD. Artwork, etc. Plus if I like the band, I feel I owe them.

I know the extra £10 they are getting from me buying it ain't much, but I feel like less of a cheap bastard.
