jk, but really, there are alot of advertisements on other sites and galleries and the more traffic, the more successful the site is, therefore the more doh the FO crew gets. I think, I could be wrong but this is how I would imagine it would work.

It is advertisement and external links signing up paid websites that Freeones gets paid.
There really is no "FREE LUNCHES".
Google is free but I bought a lot of stuff through the search engine Google.com.
I just purchased a book through Google.com and it costs me USD $39.95 but it turns out to be a eBook (I have to download).
The website advertises on Google website and paid thousands and thousands to advertise at Google.
Most websites require you to pay to advertise there (some charges a few cents if you click into the external links).
So someone is getting paid.
A lot of folks here at Freeones use external links to pay for trial membership so a small percentage "may" go to Freeones !
