My bosses are 40+ year old Republican Protestants, for the most part. You can draw your own conclusions from that...

I like my boss. She is pleasant, nice, calm, funny, caring, easy going, laid back, I could not have asked for a better boss

I can't stand the fuckin prick! Every time he opens his mouth shit just falls out! He's a nice enough guy most of the time, but hes such a fuckin tight ass its ridiculous! I work for a nation wide company, who, coincidentally is a billion dollar company. This mother fucker can't even pay me a decent fuckin wage! And he lies about every fuckin thing!
We're so short handed right now we don't even have enough people to make up a full skeleton crew! But he refuses to hire anyone, saying the same bullshit time and time again. "It's not in the budget". Suck my mother fuckin dick, its not in the budget...

Well, seeing that I'm a Republican, and technically a Protestant too, I really don't see what the problem with your bosses would be.

There's not really a problem. Some people would find nothing wrong w/ that description, but others would. They're just a bit too conservative for my taste. As in, if I wear pants that are too "modern-looking" or a shirt that doesn't cover every inch of skin below the neck, they get a little nervous. They don't like any shoes with more than a 2 inch heel either. Basically I'm one step away from commie hussy.
My last job, I really liked my boss. She was laid back and we had many great conversations about a variety of things. The problem was HER boss, who was nice at first, but then he had to make cutbacks, and the first mistake I made, he forced my boss to fire me. Couldn't even do it to my face.

I'm just really pissed off because once AGAIN I am getting fucked over on a holiday weekend, the 4th. I'm sick of this shit. It's okay fro the piece of crap employees to fuck off and not do anything, and call in sick from food poisoning or fucking WesT Nile Virus, but the second I try any of that shit, no way, can't have that, need you here. Fuck that! This is the whole reason I got back into school in the first place, to avoid this bullshit. But I still have to work.
So now, I have to put up with pompous professors, asshole bosses who act like they rule the fucking world, when it is JUST A FUCKING WINE SHOP, AND deal with every low life drunk ass piece of crap bitching and moaning that the price of their shitty malt liquor is too fucking expensive.
Fuck.

I've experienced things situations similar to that also. It makes you feel like some past slaves must have. If your group doesn't do a good job then they are constantly bitching and/or blaming you even if it isn't your fault. On the other hand if you go out of your way and do a fantastic job then they expect that each and every time from then on, even if it's not realistic, and will bitch at you if you fall short of that ever again. It's sad but sometimes it's actually smart for some workers to not do the absolute best job they can just because of things like that.
Although I ticked no feelings one way or the other, she's still mighty fine, god bless those thin tops on cold days :eek:
