How do i start a coversation with a person on here ?

they always say there are no stupid questions, but i'm afraid this question is stupid. How do you start a conversation with someone, not in a thread, but in a chat?

Welcome! As far as questions go, this is more than fair. We get some real dingers sometimes.

Click on their name and hit Start conversation. You Might not have that option though until you get a few posts under your belt first. Usually around 5. If you hit 10 and still don't have it, feel free to let us know.

sorry to get back to you so soon, but i have now made 11 comments and received a few responses, but unfortunately still don't seem to have the feature you describe.
