I've never put anybody on the ignore list. While reading what idiots write can be excruciating and irritating I don't want any tactical disadvantage in not knowing what they are putting out there. it's like knowing your enemies movements in warfare. Not knowing what they are saying can be a dangerous thing, and sometimes somebody has to stand against the hordes of what's wrong with the world.
Plus, I feel I'm doing the world a service by exposing the douchebaginess of douchebags and the stupidity of idiots. It's like my little part of bringing just a little bit of justice into the world. Even when I don't reach out to those people to change hopefully I can convince somebody else out there to not act or think like them. It doesn't happen too often, but sometimes one has to be happy with the small victories every now and then. Admittedly, I kind of get off on that whole doing what's right and true justice stuff. Maybe it's because I've seen too many bad people succeed that plugging a small area in a wide crack in a dam can seem like a worthwhile thing.
